3. Connect your computer
On iOS as on Android, now press the Connect a device button. Your smartphone camera should open, ready to scan the QR Code allowing you to connect your account with the application installed on your computer. Press the OK button.

From your PC or Mac, go to the web version of WhatsApp from your browser, or the desktop app for Windows or macOS, then scan the displayed QR Code using your smartphone.

Wait a few moments for WhatsApp Web or Desktop to connect and synchronize the content of your conversations on your PC.

In addition to the app installed on your smartphone, the multi-device function allows you to connect up to four devices simultaneously without having to keep your connected smartphone nearby. Finally, note that the application will automatically disconnect from your account after two weeks of inactivity.
