The all-new Hyundai i20 was introduced to the world earlier this year. In addition to a completely new look, there is also another nice novelty in the barrel: there will be an N version. He now makes his test kilometers at the Nürburgring.
More than a month ago, Hyundai pulled the curtain of a completely new generation of the i20. The compact South Korean continues with a more appealing appearance. Not only in that respect is the i20 a break with the perhaps duller past, because Hyundai now also has sporty aspirations with the i20. In the sporty B segment, where cars such as the Ford Fiesta ST and Volkswagen Polo GTI are in service, Hyundai hopes to be able to participate in the battle.
The i20 N has already been introduced to the world in a teaser and now we see the sporty i20 for the second time in real life. Still quite hidden under concealing panels, but the location makes it clear that it is the N. The Nordschleife, the nursery of Hyundai’s N division, is also pushing the boundaries of the sportiest i20. What is technically hidden under the undoubtedly thicker dressed body is still a bit of a guess. Looking at the competition, we can still expect at least 200 hp. The i20 may borrow the new 1.5 T-GDI from its big brother i30.
