Hyundai presents sporty dressed Tucson N-Line

Hyundai adds a sporty N-Line trim to the Tucson range. This immediately gives a nice indication of what we can expect from a hard-hitting Tucson N that is likely to be followed! The Tucson N-Line will be available at Dutch dealers from spring this year.

We already know Hyundai’s N label from the i30 N and the brand-new i20 N. For those who don’t have to be sporty, the South Koreans have come up with the N-Line versions, which mainly have a sporty-looking decoration. A real Tucson N is not there yet, but the eccentric SUV will already get an N-Line variant.

Appearance

The Tucson N-Line is immediately recognizable as such with its sporty-looking bumper work all around. It gets, among other things, an N-Line logo in its grille, but also distinguishes itself with its headlights with black housing from the regular models. Larger air openings have been added to the more aggressive front bumper and in the modified rear bumper we see, among other things, a silver-colored skid plate, a red reflective edge, a diffuser and dual exhaust tailpipes.

The N-Line has to lack a chrome-colored finish, instead it gets a black window frame and window pillars in black. The side mirrors are also finished in this Phantom Black dipped shade. At the top of the rear, Hyundai mounts a larger rear spoiler. The wheel arches, with body-colored wheel arch edges, are padded with special 19-inch light alloy. The Tucson N-Line is available in seven colors, five of which can be combined with a black roof.

Inwardly

The Tucson N-Line is also being tackled on the inside. For example, the standard equipment includes black suede and leather-covered sports seats with N logos and red stitching. The red stitching also returns on the door panels, the center armrest and on the dashboard. Hyundai also gives it a sports steering wheel, of course with the N logo. Metal sports pedals, special door sill plates and a black sky are also part of the N-Line party. Other indulgence comes in the form of heated ventilated front seats and a heated rear seat.

The N-Line can be combined with the 230 hp hybrid and 265 hp plug-in hybrid engine versions, but is also available in combination with the 150 hp 1.6 T-GDI Mild Hybrid. There are no Dutch prices yet, they will follow in the run-up to the market introduction.
