Hyundai has an updated version of its largest SUV in the development rooms. We are not talking about the Santa Fe, but about the even bigger Palisade!

With a length of 4.78 meters, the Santa Fe is certainly not a small boy. In the Netherlands it is the largest SUV that Hyundai offers, but elsewhere in the United States an SUV cannot be big enough. The Tucson is a size bigger than in Europe and the Santa Fe has the almost 5 meter Palisade as a large SUV brother above it. That seven-seater, Hyundai’s equivalent of the Kia Telluride, came on the market in 2018 and is therefore four years old this year. Time for a facelift.

The wrapped Hyundai Palisade in these photos hangs fanatically in the camouflage patches, sticker work that still hides the majority of the exterior novelties. We do seem to be able to discern that Hyundai is adjusting the lighting at the front. The upper flat light units get a new layout, including a horizontal stripe of LED daytime running lights. This seems to mean that the Palisade is saying goodbye to the vertical LED strips that are located lower in the front next to the actual headlights. Count on a grille with a new layout and new bumpers on both the front and rear. Undoubtedly, Hyundai also takes a close look at the multimedia systems it supplies in the Palisade.

The Palisade’s international engine range consists of a 277 hp 3.5 V6, a 295 hp 3.8 V6 and a 2.2 CRDi diesel engine. These machines will probably remain available in the car.
