I feel nothing. I only have pain in my breasts but everything else is normal, in the very beginning I had some problems with the lower abdomen but I don’t have that anymore.
I’m a little worried. Everyone says I should be happy I don’t feel anything, but sometimes I wish I was sick so I felt something…. because I don’t feel anything I don’t really feel pregnant either….
Is this normal?

Answer
Hi Nancy,
First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy. I presume this is your first pregnancy?
First of all, I would like to say that it is better to consult your gynaecologist, midwife or general practitioner with such questions. We are not a forum for answering medical questions like these, let alone making diagnoses.
Still, I want to answer you, being a mother of three children myself.
I understand your concern. The booklets state that during pregnancy you are nauseated, have pain in your breasts, no appetite, difficult bowel movements, cannot tolerate certain smells… However, do not forget that this is not a MUST. There are women who practically do not suffer from pregnancy.
With my first pregnancy I never had nausea, while with my third pregnancy I was very sick from day 1 twelve weeks. So you can see how it can differ.
So it is certainly not abnormal that you don’t feel anything and that you don’t feel pregnant as a result. Give yourself and your body time to be pregnant.
If you are really unsure, I advise you to visit your gynaecologist, midwife or general practitioner. They will certainly help you further.
Greetings and enjoy that little miracle !!
