Ferrari has had a record year. And the employees can benefit from that. Because the Italian sports car manufacturer has done so well, all employees will receive a bonus of up to 12,000 euros. If only we had chosen a different profession…
Last year Ferrari delivered a record number of cars: 11,155 units. That is 22 percent more than in corona year 2020 and 10 percent more than in 2019. Models with a V8 engine – the Ferrari F8 Tributo, Roma and SF90 Stradale – are especially popular. The V12s did less well in 2021. Sales are only expected to increase this year, partly due to the new Purosangue, Ferrari’s first SUV-like.
Huge gross profit for Ferrari, so big bonus for employees
Ferrari last made a gross profit of 1.53 billion euros. This year, the Italian brand expects to rake in between 1.65 and 1.70 billion euros. And that is very nice for the Ferrari employees. Over 2021 they all received a performance bonus of up to 12,000 euros. Nondeju! That is a bit more than 8 percent holiday allowance and a free subscription to the gym.
