With WWDC on the horizon, the iOS 15 unveiling is also getting closer. A new rumor states that Apple will help you eat healthier with an iOS 15 Food Tracking feature.
‘iOS 15 gets Food Tracking and customized notifications’
The news comes from writer Connor Jewiss, who received a list of new iOS 15 features from an anonymous source. Jewiss also says he has already seen a first version of iOS 15 to confirm these features. Unfortunately, he does not share screenshots to confirm this. iMore has now confirmed Jewiss’s findings from its own hand, which benefits its credibility.
That doesn’t make the list of new functions coming to iOS any less interesting. Jewiss states based on its source that iOS 15 will receive a significant expansion of the Health app. Central to this would be a new Food Tracking function, which allows users to record their meals and thus get information about how many calories they are consuming.
In addition to the new eating function, iOS would also receive adjustments to the Dark Mode that was introduced with iOS 13. Apple would mainly adjust its apps to change the colors so that they better match the dark background. In addition, Jewiss confirms Bloomberg’s rumor that you will soon get more options in the field of notifications. This way you can choose other settings during working hours or when you are exercising.
WWDC 2021 starts June 7
We don’t have to wait long to see if today’s rumor is correct. Apple will unveil iOS 15 on June 7 during WWDC 2021. The annual developer show will be fully digital, just like in 2020. Traditionally, the fair will kick off with a keynote, in which Tim Cook and other Apple staff will reveal all new software updates.
