Only the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max have a Dynamic Island. But according to rumors, the Dynamic Island will soon come to all iPhone 15 devices.
All iPhone 15 devices will get Dynamic Island
One of the biggest refreshes of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max is the Dynamic Island. The notch (black notch) was gone and instead, both Pro devices now have a bar that can change shape. However, the regular iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus remained with the notch.
According to generally reliable Apple expert Gurman, Apple will do things differently with the iPhone 15. He says that all iPhone 15 devices will get the Dynamic Island. So it no longer matters whether you buy a regular iPhone 15 or one of the iPhone 15 Pro models.
More changes with the iPhone 15
Gurman, however, shared more in his newsletter. He also said that every iPhone 15 will have a USB-C connection. The end of the lightning port seems to have actually arrived.
Titanium edges
According to the Apple expert, the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max will get something that the regular models don’t get. Both devices will have a titanium frame. This makes these devices a bit more sturdy.
No more physical buttons
In addition, the iPhone 15 Pro (Max) no longer has buttons that you can physically press. Gurman says Apple will start using buttons that vibrate when you press them. You may recognize this from the iPhone 8 and the iPhone SE 2022, among others. The Taptic Engines then ensure that you feel the place where the buttons are when you ‘press’ them.
