iPhone 15 more expensive
The rumors that the iPhone 15 will be more expensive have been going on for some time and now seem to be confirmed again. Earlier it became clear that Apple plans to make the iPhone 15 Pro Max a lot more expensive than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The new phone will then be the most expensive iPhone Apple has ever made. At the moment that is still the iPhone 14 Pro Max with a purchase price of no less than 1239 euros.

According to new rumors, Apple is also planning to make the iPhone 15 Pro more expensive than the iPhone 14 Pro. The price increases will therefore mainly be seen in the Pro models of the iPhone 15. This would be the second year in a row that Apple has increased the prices for the new iPhones in the Netherlands. Last year, Apple already did this, due to the enormous inflation in Europe.
That’s how much you pay for the iPhone 15 Pro
If we are to believe the rumors, you pay 100 euros more for the iPhone 15 Pro in the United States than for the iPhone 14 Pro. The iPhone 14 Pro was marketed for ‘only’ $ 999, so that means that you pay $ 1099 for the iPhone 15 Pro. The iPhone 15 Pro Max may even be $ 100 or $ 200 more expensive, then you end up with $ 1199 or $ 1299 for the new iPhone.
Apple usually implements the same price increases in the Netherlands, regardless of the difference between the euro and the dollar. For the iPhone 14 Pro you pay 1329 euros at Apple, which is probably (at least) 1429 euros with the iPhone 15 Pro. This could be even more, because the iPhone 14 Pro was even 170 euros more expensive than the iPhone 13 Pro. So it is quite possible that the price will be even higher.
This price is therefore much higher with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. In the worst case, the purchase price will indeed increase by 200 euros, which will result in 1679 euros. A huge amount for a new phone, even at Apple.
The new iPhones are coming next month
We will have to wait for the release of the iPhone 15 Pro, because the new phones will appear next month. Apple will probably present the new iPhones on Tuesday, September 12, from September 22, the iPhone 15 will be in stores. Pre-ordering starts a week earlier, then we immediately know how expensive the iPhone 15 Pro (Max) will actually be.
