‘iPhone 17 Pro Camera Get New Design (and it looks like this)’

There are more and more rumors that the design of the camera will change with the iPhone 17 Pro. But what does that actually look like?

We have to wait a while for the next generation of iPhones, because the release of the iPhone 17 will only be somewhere in September. But the rumor mill is not standing still. And Jon Prosser from FrontpageTech already knows: Apple is going to tinker with the camera design at the iPhone 17 Pro.

This is not the first time that rumors about the new design of the iPhone 17 Pro have come up. Earlier there has been a lot of speculation about the camera island. But in the video above you can now see how the iPhone 17 Pro models get a new camera island.

A striking detail here is that the three lenses are in the same place. That while earlier rumors said the lenses would be placed next to each other. The change in design now seems to focus primarily on the camera island. The camera island on the iPhone 17 Pro also seems to be more like a kind of wide beam.

If you look closely at the new camera island, you will probably also have noticed that the position of, among other things, the LED light has changed. The three camera lenses can still be found on the left, but the light, the microphone and the Lidar sensor are now on the far right.

It can also be seen that the back of the iPhone 17 Pro still has one color. And that the camera island gets a dark tint. Previous rumors thought that Apple was going to give the back of the iPhone a kind of ‘duotone’ (two -tone) appearance.

Of course you have to take these rumors with a grain of salt. Jon Prosser has made correct predictions in the past, but early renders from, among others, the iPhone 14 turned out not to be true.
