The American Alpha Motor Corporation has a promising electric model range: with the retro fantastic Alpha Ace (a coupe), Alpha Wolf (a pick-up) and Alpha Saga (a sedan). The latter also comes in a station wagon variant. And like all the other Alphas, it’s unbelievably tough.
The Alpha Motor Corporation is a California startup that already has a number of electric vehicles in development. There’s the Alpha Icon – a compact utility vehicle – and there’s the Ace two-door sports coupe. The latter is 4.18 meters long, which means it is 1 centimeter below the Audi TT and is exactly the same length as the Alpine A110.
Electric Alpha Wolf is reminiscent of the Subaru Brat
The pickup Alpha Wolf is based on the Ace and reminds us in appearance of a classic Subaru Brat or Nissan Hardbody. You will soon be able to order it with front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. According to the Alpha Motor Corporation, the Wolf can travel between 400 and 450 kilometers on a full battery charge (the battery is 75 kWh).
Alpha Saga Estate is just a bit longer than a 3 Series Touring
Alpha has also developed an exceptionally beautiful four-door sedan based on the Ace, of which this Saga Estate is the station wagon variant. The model has four-wheel drive, can reach a distance of almost 500 kilometers on a full battery charge and can reach 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds. With a length of 4.8 meters, the Saga Estate is slightly longer than a BMW 3-series Touring.
Currently only available to order in the United States
If you are charmed by the electric pack mule (it can carry no less than 991 liters of luggage), then unfortunately we have to disappoint you. The Alpha Saga Estate can be ordered, but for now only if you live in the United States. It is not known exactly when the model will be released on the market. First up is the Alpha Wolf, who will appear at the end of 2023.
