Is there a device that converts ordinary air into 100% oxygen?

For a special project we are investigating how to convert ordinary air into oxygen.

Answer

Hi Brian,

Such a device does indeed exist, and is called “oxygen generator”. You probably know that air is made up of about 20% oxygen and 80% nitrogen. An oxygen generator will separate the oxygen molecules from the nitrogen molecules. The oxygen can then be used for, for example, medical purposes. The nitrogen is also released. An oxygen generator is therefore also a nitrogen generator.
