Hennessey Performance is the company you can turn to to provide your American car with an unhealthy amount of horsepower. For example, the Texans are happy to spoon more than 1,000 horsepower in the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger, but pick-ups are not spared either. For example, the Ford F-150 and Ram 1500, whether or not in six-wheel form, are also available with more than 1,000 hp. Hennessey now presents an Overland Edition of its wacky Mammoth TRX models and with that it has arguably the most brutal holiday car in the world.
RAM 1500
Under the name Mammoth TRX, Hennessey Performance sells extra strong versions of the Ram 1500 TRX, which already has a more than 700 hp Hellcat V8 from the factory. The Hennessey Mammoth TRX is available with over 900 hp, but also with no less than 1,026 hp and 1,314 Nm. Both versions are now also available as an Overland Edition.
The Overland Editions have an extensive structure in the cargo box that not only contains a real ‘roof tent’, but also an awning, extra fuel tanks, a water tank and tools such as an ax and LED lights. If you already have a Mammoth TRX at your doorstep, you can provide your executioner with a pick-up for more than €19,000 from the package.
