Isetta-like Microlino also as an open two-seater and delivery person

The design of the Isetta continues to appeal to the imagination. The Swiss Micro Mobility Systems has an electric Isetta-like in its range with the Microlino, Artega has presented such a model, the German Evetta has a similar car and even the Chinese Changhe will soon have a similar, albeit somewhat flawed-looking electric retro car in the range. The Microlino is currently only available as a closed two-seater, but three new body styles appear to be in the pipeline.

AutoWeek has uncovered patent drawings of three new Microlino variants. The first and perhaps nicest of the bunch is an open version that apparently has to do without a fabric roof. Due to the rigidity of this variant, the large front door cannot be opened. Instead, the open variant has large coves in the sides to prevent you from having to perform violent antics to gain access to the cheerful EV.

The second new Microlino is a real delivery van, complete with an extended buttock in which Micro Mobility Systems has placed a box. With this copy, the door in the nose of the car is retained. The third new variant raises a bit more question marks. We see a version with B-pillars consisting only of tubes. The whole is somewhat reminiscent of the Fiat 500 Jolly. It is not known whether this variant has a fixed or removable roof. It is also unclear when Microlino will present the new variants or whether it concerns purely show cars. The latter seems unlikely to us, since the competitor Evetta of his retro rakker also offers an open version and an orderer. The Microlino can therefore make good use of these new variants.
