The Jaguar E-type has been around for 60 years next year and that should of course be celebrated. That is why the brand is preparing a special version of the F-type.
Perhaps you can hardly imagine, but the Jaguar E-type will be 60 again in 2021. The beautifully lined Jaguar has grown into a true icon and that is why this joyous fact should of course be considered. Jaguar uses the F-type for this, in a way a bit like the great-grandson of the E-type. The F-type will be decked out as ‘Heritage 60 Edition’, of which exactly 60 will of course be built.
The party animal was painted in ‘Sherwood Green’, a color that was available for the E-type and then disappeared into Jaguar’s cabinets. Now the color is on a new Jaguar for the first time in decades and it is not wrong for the F-type. The 20-inch wheels should also be somewhat reminiscent of the wire wheels of the E-type thanks to their color and design. In the interior it also looks quite classic, with the beige-colored leather upholstery. Of course, there are various special decals on both the outside and inside to remind you that this is the Heritage 60 Edition.
Jaguar’s SV Bespoke division is responsible for preparing the special edition. For this it takes both the closed and the open version of the F-type R as a basis. Being the R means there’s a 575 horsepower V8 in the nose that sends power to all four wheels. Slightly stronger than the E-type, but hey, progress can also be celebrated! Of course, that all comes with a hefty price tag. Converted, Jaguar (in the UK) charges € 135,000 for the Heritage 60 Edition.
