JBL comes with a new version of the popular Flip. This Flip 7 has been renewed with a interchangeable loop, carabiner, new design, better sound and longer battery life and more resistant to water and dust.
During their club JBL London event in Jaoel London, JBL showed a number of new products, such as the Partybox 520 and Partybox Encore 2. JBL also comes with the successors of their most popular portable speakers: the Flip and Charge. The Flip 7 has a number of novelties, such as an interchangeable loop and a carabiner. This makes it easier for you to take the Flip 7 somewhere. The speaker is also equipped with (patented) AI Sound Boost that immediately analyzes your music and optimizes the driver in the speaker for a fat bass without distortion and clear sounds on higher volumes.
It is also nice that this Flip 7 has the new IP68-Waterproof and dust-resistant classification*, so that you can take your music with you without worrying about water or dust. This Flip 7 can even be a maximum of half an hour underwater, but also a maximum of 1.5 meters deep. Other new functions are a longer battery life of a maximum of 16 hours with PlayTime Boost and the latest Bluetooth 5.4 for improved wireless connection. Auracast is also supported, so that you can share audio from one audio source with other JBL speakers that are compatible with Auracast.
Price, availability and colors
The JBL Flip 7 is available from 1 April 2025 via JBL.com and selected retailers, and has a suggested retail price of € 149.99. The available colors are black, blue, white, red, camo, pink and purple.
