Jeep Avenger: now also available as a mild hybrid

The Jeep Avenger started its Dutch sales adventure as an EV, but later also came onto the market with a petrol engine. A third power source has now been added. It is a petrol engine, but a mild hybrid. AutoWeek was the first to report this after looking at the price list.

In October 2022, Jeep pulled the curtain off the Avenger. This compact crossover initially only came onto the Dutch market with an electric drivetrain. In the middle of last year, Jeep quietly added a 100 hp 1.2 PureTech petrol engine to the Avenger’s range. Now it is expanding the price list for a second time. This time you will also find a mild hybrid. But there is more news. We’ll start with the mild hybrid.

The mild-hybrid Jeep Avenger has the 100 hp and 205 Nm powerful variant of the mild-hybrid 1.2 from Stellantis as its power plant. You can choose from three versions. It is available as Longitude from €32,862, as Altitude from €35,196 and as Summit costs €37,529.

The other Avenger news concerns the Avenger with the regular 100 hp 1.2. Previously it was only available as Altitude, but is now also available as a cheaper Longtitude. It costs €30,700 less than the Altitude (€32,700). That’s not the end of the Avenger cake. For example, the electric models drop in price by €2,000. At least, the versions that remain, because the nameless entry-level model is disappearing.
