John Vanderaart has more time than usual this week, so he rejoices us with a column on Pcactive.nl. Here you can still read his Sunday column Wouter Koolmees, while John is now talking about the NATO summit.
I already took the NATO summit into account and I had already deleted the commuting to Alphen a/d Rijn from my book: “Working at home!” My wife works partly in Amsterdam, somewhere near the Sloterplas. You would think, “Not a penny.” Well, nice! She just called from the Oude Schipholweg: “Also closed to cyclists.” And that was taken very seriously by a few police-and-teeth. What now? My wife is not exactly knowing the roads and could only think that she would first come back home and then put things in a row. In itself a good but unnecessary idea. After all, she was able to take a shift over the song or take the Ringvaart right at the bridge near Vijfhuizen. In the worst case there was also the Haarlemmerstraatweg and then along Sugar City. The max 10 minutes later on the Sloterplas … she would consider it all and she pushed me away. At the moment I follow her live on Google Maps. No idea where she is going, but they are completely in the wrong direction anyway. No, I won’t call her. I’ll watch out!
The NATO summit is about to start and around Schiphol there is no mouse through it anymore …
