Karma Kaveya

Karma Automotive presents a brand new EV: the Kaveya. The Karma Kaveya is an absurdly strong sports coupe with an immense battery pack. The beginning of a new era for the company that originated from Fisker, which is also looking ahead to another new model.

The car we once knew as the Fisker Karma has been the Karma Revero for several years now, which (just like the Karma brand) no longer has anything to do with the current Fisker. Karma Automotive has worked hard behind the scenes to come up with a car that it really developed from scratch. This Karma Kaveya is the firstborn of independent Karma.

It’s safe to say that Karma starts off with a bang. The Karma Kaveya is a very impressive car on paper. The roughly 4.75 meter long sports coupe with gull-wing doors has a 1,180 hp electric drivetrain and a battery pack of no less than 120 kWh. This technology enables it to go from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in less than three seconds, reach a top speed of about 290 km/h and cover at least about 400 km. with a full battery.

The latter is not really impressive when you consider how large the battery is, so the four-wheel drive Kaveya may be a bit ‘thirsty’. The weight of about 2,400 doesn’t help. By the way, a 536 hp rear-wheel drive version will appear earlier, which may go further. It will be released in the last quarter of 2025, with the strongest version appearing a year later. So just be patient.

Karma Gyesera

Karma Gyesera

Karma GyeseraThe order of unveiling is apparently not quite the order of market introduction. Karma only shows its other newcomer, the Gyesera, in vague images, even though it should be on the market at the end of next year. The Karma Gyesera is an electric sedan and you can probably see it as the spiritual successor to the Karma Revero. With a length of 5.08 meters, it will be a big boy, which, despite an aluminum space frame and various carbon fiber and aluminum panels, will also weigh around 2,400 kilos. Here a 590 hp electric powertrain does its work, good for a 0-60 mph sprint in about 4 seconds and a top speed of 217 km/h. The Karma Gyesera also has a 120 kWh battery pack, again good for ‘at least 400 km’ of driving range.

Karma Revero

Karma Revero

After all, Karma has not forgotten Revero, who is now approximately twelve years old. It will just get another refresher. A minimal one, admittedly. The headlights have a slightly different light signature and the brand name is now written on the nose. There do not appear to be any significant technical changes. This means that the at least 500 hp plug-in hybrid will shoot from a standstill to 100 km/h in about four seconds and can drive more than 100 km completely electrically. We are curious whether sooner or later there will be a sign of life from the Karma SUV that AutoWeek discovered in patent form almost three years ago.
