Kawasaki is in full swing, we are on the eve of a huge transition and in order to respond to this as flexibly as possible, parent company Kawasaki Heavy Industries has moved the motorcycles into a new division, Kawasaki Motors Ltd. accommodated.

This should already have been achieved in at least 10 EV vehicles within now and 2025, but in what form and capacity is not yet known. It is true that there will be a significant upscaling worldwide, Kawasaki speaks of at least 16 new models worldwide that will be put on the market every year from 2025.

Heavy Industries attaches so much importance to the new Kawasaki Motors Ltd division that it has decided to make the very exclusive River Mark logo, which was currently only reserved for the exclusive H2 models, the logo of the new division, along with the slogan “Let the Good Times Roll.”

In addition, this year marks 125 years since Kawasaki started its adventure. In those 125 years, Kawasaki Heavy Industries has grown into a gigantic concern with, among other things, divisions in shipping, trains, aerospace and motorcycles.

To celebrate the 125th anniversary and the launch of Kawasaki Motors Ltd and the worldwide use of the River Mark logo, the KRT team of Jonathan Rea and Alex Lowes’ two racers created iconic replicas of two historic models that capture this unique Kawasaki heritage. represented.

Jonathan Rea’s ZX-10RR was a replica of the very first ZXR750 that was put on the market by Kawasaki in 1989 as a true racing replica and was therefore the birthplace of the unprecedented popularity of the Supersport segment.

Alex Lowes’ ZX-10RR was a replica of another iconic Kawasaki, the GPZ900R, which was given the Ninja name in the US and became a legendary bike thanks to Tom Cruise in Top Gun. The Ninja GPZ900R was the first 16-valve Kawasaki and at the time it was an unprecedented strong and agile bike.
