The electric Kia EV6 is now available in more versions. In addition, Kia gives the entry-level version of its electric flagship a new name. Good news: the starting price of the Kia EV6 remains below €45,000, which is good news in the context of the purchase subsidy for electric cars (SEPP).
The delivery range of the electric Kia EV6 was certainly not meager. You can get the EV6 with a 58 kWh battery, but also with a 77 kWh battery pack. If you opt for the Kia EV6 with the largest battery, you can also opt for more powerful four-wheel drive versions in addition to rear-wheel drive. Kia decides to start the new year by expanding the versions in which you can get the Kia EV6. Nothing is changed on the technical side of the car.
Kia EV6 58 kWh RWD
The Kia EV6 had a starting price of €44,595 and in 2022 that will also be the base price of Kia’s first model on an E-GMP basis. Again you get the basic version for that amount, but the previously nameless slip-on now also has a name: Air. This Air version is only available in combination with a Kia EV6 with 58 kWh battery and 170 hp electric motor on the rear axle. Fun fact: the Air version comes in red as standard, but is of course also available in other colors.
Until recently, the entry-level version was the only version that Kia had on the price list for the rear-wheel drive EV6 with 58 kWh battery, but that is different now. The EV6 with the most modest powertrain is now also available as a Plus. For the EV6 in that composition, Kia asks €48,595. The range of the Kia EV6 is 394 kilometers in both versions. As far as speed is concerned, it is certainly not easy in the least violent EV6. It zooms to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and has a top speed of 185 km/h.

Kia EV6 77 kWh RWD and AWD
Those who go for the 77 kWh battery will soon be able to combine that electric lung capacity with rear and four-wheel drive. If you opt for a rear-wheel drive EV6 (RWD) with 77 kWh battery, you get a 229 hp electric motor on the rear axle, which therefore delivers more power than the one in the EV6 with 58 kWh battery. Thanks to the arrival of an electric motor on the front axle, the four-wheel drive EV6 (AWD) with 77 kWh battery is 325 hp strong. The RWD versions were already available as Plus (€52,095) and as GT-Line (€56,895), the gap between Kia now fills with the new Plus Advanced version. It has a price of €53,495. We find the same novelty for the Kia EV6 with 77 kWh battery and four-wheel drive. It is also now available as Plus Advanced (€55,995) and no longer just as Plus (€54,595) and GT-Line €59,395).
Depending on the chosen version, the Kia EV6 RWD with 77.4 battery can travel 504 to 528 kilometers without recharging. For the Kia EV6 AWD with the large battery pack, you have to settle for a range of 484 to 506 kilometers. The 229 hp EV6 RWD with 77 kWh battery sprints to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds, the 325 hp AWD variant is considerably faster with a 0-100 time of 5.2 seconds.
Kia EV6 GT
The absolute top model remains the 585 hp four-wheel drive EV6 GT with 77 kWh battery. This variant travels about 400 kilometers on a charge and accelerates to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. The top speed is no less than 260 km/h. The Kia EV6 GT will keep its starting price of €63,595.

Equipment
Base version Air has the two 12.3-inch displays housed in a curved panel as standard, which act as instruments and multimedia screen. Also standard are things such as two-zone separated climate control, electrically adjustable, folding and heated door mirrors, keyless entry, 19-inch light metal, seat and steering wheel heating and battery heating. In addition, a huge range of active and passive driving systems are standard. From adaptive cruise control linked to the navigation system to automatic high beam, blind spot detection, a reversing camera and even a semi-autonomous driving system with which you can get on the highway.
Kia EV6
The Plus version adds, among other things, seat ventilation at the front and rear, mood lighting, artificial leather upholstery, an electrically operated tailgate, a heat pump, an extensive audio system from Meridan and Vehicle-2-Load technology. The new Plus Advanced trim in turn adds 20-inch alloy wheels and a sliding/tilting glass roof. The GT-Line complements all that with things like specific GT-Line bumper work, sports pedals, body-colored wheel arch edges, Matrix LED headlights, an induction charger, suede on the furniture, more extensive highway assistance (with lane change), a 360-degree camera and a head-up display with AR technology. Top version GT is the king of the EV6 range and distinguishes itself with its own bumper work, an adaptive chassis, an electronic differential lock, 21-inch light alloy, extra powerful braking and sports seats of the milder versions.
