King’s Day Top 10: Orange on top!

In a sea of gray and black, orange is certainly not the most popular car color. Yet there are a surprising number of manufacturers who offer it. On King’s Day we do a random selection from the offer!

A Top 10 should actually be a ranking, but we are not venturing into that today. After all, which manufacturer has the most beautiful color in house is different for everyone. What we can do is, in random order, list ten cars that can currently be ordered new in orange. We immediately include the price tag, because exclusivity is not always cheap. Long live the king!

  1. Land Rover Range Rover – Madagascar Orange – € 5,610

Buying an orange car is always a bold move, but that is especially true when it is ordered on a “full-size” Range Rover. The beautiful Madagascar Orange costs an extra € 5,610, but it is not as good as a percentage. Incidentally, a different shade with the name Namib Orange is available on the Discovery and Discovery Sport. Slightly more civilized, but still quite striking.

  1. BMW 2 Series / 4 Series Cabriolet – Sunset Orange – € 1,050

The color can also be ordered on sedans, Tourings and even on the 2-series Tourer, but with a color called “Sunset Orange” we prefer to think of a convertible. For the last generation of the open 4 series, “Sunset” was even the introduction color, but the 2 series is also excellent. Pay € 1,050 (2 series) or € 1,295 (4 series) and the sunset will never be the same again.

  1. McLaren 720S – McLaren Orange

If there is one car type on which orange is still somewhat common, then it must be supercars. At McLaren, the shade is even a kind of trademark, witness the name “McLaren Orange” for the color that is spotted relatively often on the 720S. The car is also available in Papaya Spark and Helios Orange, so even within today’s theme there is no shortage of choice.

  1. Kia Picanto – Pop Orange – € 495

The Kia Picanto proves that driving in a new orange car does not have to be expensive. Kia is comfortable in its colors anyway and hoists its smallest model for a reasonable € 495 in the cheerful “Pop Orange”.

  1. Renault Clio – Orange Valencia – € 695

One of the brightest shades today comes from France, more specifically from Renault. Valencia Orange is available on the new Clio and the new Captur and will blow you away. You have to dare, but on King’s Day you are quite the man (m / f) for just under 700 euros. If you are looking for an orange B-segment, you can also turn to Volkswagen for a Polo in Energetic Orange.

  1. Toyota C-HR – Fusion Orange

Toyota showed courage by putting the facelifted C-HR in Fusion Orange on the brochure. That splashes off nicely, but unfortunately the color is still reserved for the Launch Edition. There is no extra charge, because that version gets the black / orange body as standard.

  1. Audi A3 Limousine – Coral Orange Metallic – € 3,221

Less than a week ago, Audi pulled the canvas of a new A3 Limousine, or the sedan version of this model. As it turns out, the car is also available in orange. If the shade itself does not guarantee that enough, the price tag of € 3,221 does provide the necessary exclusivity. For that solid amount, however, the Audi buyer gets the only orange color from the list with a Dutch name: Coral orange!

  1. Porsche Cayenne Coupé – Lava Orange – € 2,513

At Porsche, orange is not only available on the Cayenne Coupé, it was even the introduction color! The Lava Orange lives up to its name and is no less than a safety vest in terms of ferocity. Those who do not like the color, but the Coupé version of the Cayenne, can also order it on the regular Cayenne and a number of other Porsches.

  1. Rolls-Royce Phantom – Tuscan Sun.

At Rolls-Royce, the color chart is divided into categories because otherwise the highly valued buyer might lose the overview. It is therefore not surprising that in the midst of the overwhelming range we also find a number of orange shades. Tuscan Sun is the first of these and can optionally be sprayed over the entire carriage, the bottom half or only the top half. Combinations with matching wheels and a contrasting pinstripe are also possible. Standing out is always guaranteed, although of course that also applies to a silver-gray Phantom.

  1. Jeep Wrangler – Punk’n – € 1,195

Unfortunately, the Jeep Wrangler in our country is much more expensive than its American makers had in mind. The current generation will therefore always remain rare. Whoever takes the step, can have the car hoisted in “Punk’s” for € 1,195, an orange shade that is certainly not out of place for the legendary all-terrain vehicle.
