KTM launches Limited Edition 1290 Super Duke RR

The most extreme street-legal KTM, in a nutshell, is the 1290 Super Duke RR, taking it one step further where the 1290 Super Duke R EVO left off. That starts with the weight, which is no less than 11 kilograms lighter than the standard R EVO.

In terms of the chassis, the main difference between the R EVO and the RR is in the WP suspension that is level-up, with a fully adjustable WP APEX PRO 7548 closed cartridge upside-down and a custom -made WP APEX PRO 7746 rear shock – of course also fully adjustable. That and the WP APEX PRO 7117 steering damper that is adjustable in 30 positions.

In terms of material choice, KTM has made extensive use of carbon fiber on the RR, not only in the covers and fenders, even the subframe has received a lightweight carbon fiber treatment. Oh yes, you can forget about taking a pillion passenger, the RR is only available as a single-seater.

The 2023 KTM can now be ordered from a limited number of KTM dealers worldwide, but you will have to be quick; only 500 will be made.
