Lancia presents a spectacular double harbinger. With the Lancia Ypsilon Rally 4 HF it announces its return to rallying and Lancia is looking ahead to an extra powerful version of the electric Ypsilon.

When you think of Lancia and rallying, you probably mainly think of the Delta and the Stratos, but in 2024 it is the Ypsilon that can express Lancia’s rally love. The new Lancia Ypsilon is the first in a series of brand new cars from the Italian brand that heralds its return to the international stage. Now also the return to international rallying, with this spectacular looking Lancia Ypsilon Rally 4 HF. This can be used in the so-called Rally4 class.

In any case, this Ypsilon with a special preference for bad roads is not only sporty but also decorated in a historically responsible manner. The HF logo is of course fully present, including a red elephant, but we also see a clear nod to the famous Martini color scheme of the past. The Lancia Ypsilon Rally 4 HF has a 212 hp version of the well-known 1.2 three-cylinder engine in its nose. Power goes to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox and a mechanical limited-slip differential.

We also get to see one overall photo of the Ypsilon HF and a series of interior images. The Lancia Ypsilon HF is a sporty top version intended for a broader audience that will only be launched on the market in May next year. It will have a fully electric drivetrain that delivers 240 hp, which is enough for a 0-100 sprint that takes only 5.8 seconds. The Lancia Ypsilon HF also stands slightly lower on its wheels than the regular Ypsilon and also has a wider track. It further distinguishes itself with thicker bumper work, special wheels and sports seats that we see here partly covered with blue leather.
