Got up…

Formula 1 driver Nicholas Latifi will leave Williams at the end of the season. The team and the driver report that the expiring contract of the 27-year-old Canadian will not be extended. That may clear the way for the Dutchman Nyck de Vries.
Latifi made his debut for Williams at the Austrian Grand Prix in 2020. He has raced 55 Grands Prix so far and earned seven World Cup points. The Canadian has not yet scored any points this season.
Williams already reported in August that the other driver, Alexander Albon, will also drive for the team in the coming years. The F1 team says it will soon announce who will be the second driver. That feeds rumors that it could be the Dutchman Nyck de Vries. De Vries made his Formula 1 racing debut in September as a replacement for Williams driver Alexander Albon. De Vries finished ninth, well ahead of Latifi (15).
