After Ducati and BMW, Vespa has now also teamed up with Danish LEGO. The new LEGO Vespa 125 is inspired by the Vespas from the 1960s.

LEGO Vespa 125: Italian style icon in 1,106 bricks

With a pastel blue color – one of the first colors in which this Italian icon was made – the new 1,106 brick LEGO model pays tribute to the original Vespa. Fans can further enhance the set’s heritage with a classic 1960s Italian license plate and Vespa logo.

Like the original, this model is also full of beautiful details and refined design accents. From the bunch of flowers in the bike basket and spare wheel to the detachable hood, Lego brick motor, side stand and rotating handlebars, this model pays tribute to the Italian scooter brand.

Florian Muller, Senior Designer at the LEGO Group

“Working with the Vespa team on this stunning motor vehicle masterpiece has been an incredible experience. One of the most enjoyable aspects of designing this set was the reproduction of the details of the original model as a tribute to the classic 1960s Vespa. The set gave me the opportunity to travel back in time and use my imagination while designing and we hope the fans feel that way too.”

Marco Lambri, Head of the Design Center of the Piaggio Group:

“Working together with the LEGO group has been a fantastic experience, as it brought together two dreams: the LEGO brand and Vespa, who share in common the limitless expressive potential they offer their fans. Two extraordinary brands that spanned different eras and innovate time and again because they have in their DNA the capacity to unite and build. For us, as designers, the challenge was to bring the soft lines of Vespa together with the shape of the Lego bricks, a test that we passed with flying colors.”

The LEGO Vespa 125 will be available from March 1 at LEGO.com, in LEGO Stores and other retailers worldwide for a price of €99.99.
