Lenovo has released a second generation of the Tab P11 Pro and the Tab P11. They are two tablets with Android 12L, a version of Android optimized for tablets. They are available from 299 euros.
Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (Gen 2) with OLED screen
At the IFA fair in Berlin, Lenovo will present a New Generation of the Lenovo Tab P11 series, and it concerns two tablets from the low and mid-range. The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro and Tab P11 come with Android 12L, so they work with a version of Android optimized for larger screens. The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (Gen 2) has a 12.2 inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,536 pixels. The panel also has a brightness of 600 nits and it supports the wider DCI-P3 color palette and also HDR10 + content. In addition, animations must also be beautiful due to the high 120Hz refresh rate. Lenovo comes out with an arrangement of four JBL speakers.
Lenovo’s new Tab P11 Pro (Gen 2) tablet also has a MediaTek Kompanio 1300T chipset, and it has a 2.6 GHz octa-core processor. You can see the MediaTak as a modern midrange chip that supports the WiFi 6E standard. Lenovo also equips the tablet with different storage configuration up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The battery is an 8,200 mAh one.
More affordable Tab P11 (Gen 2)
In addition to the Pro version, there is also the regular Lenovo tab P11 (Gen 2) and it comes on the market with a slightly larger 11.5 inch LCD panel. The screen has a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels and it has 120Hz. The brightness is 400 nits. The four speakers are also present with this tablet, but it has a smaller 7,700 mAh battery. In addition, it also has other storage options up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The storage is expandable via microSD.
Both tablets will continue to receive updates until Android version 14. Lenovo is also releasing optional accessories for the tablets, namely a keyboard cover and the Lenovo Precion Pen 3 stylus.
Availability
The Lenovo Tab P11 (Gen 2) is available from 299 euros in the color Storm Gray, and it should be in stores in November. You also pay 499 euros for the Tab P11 Pro (Gen 2) and it comes with two colors: Oat and Storm Gray. It will be on sale from September.
