Lexus is expanding the warranty scheme for new and used cars. From now on you get a warranty of up to 10 years, or 200,000 km, whichever comes sooner.
According to the brand, the fact that Lexus is extending the warranty has to do with reliability, which it also firmly believes in. In recent years, Lexus has often emerged as a reliable or even the most reliable brand in various studies. In order to underline this, Lexus wants to guarantee the cars it delivers for longer from now on. It also does this retroactively, because cars that are already driving around now also benefit from it. So if you have a Lexus that is less than 10 years old and has still run 200,000 km, then that kite goes up.
You get the warranty when you take your Lexus to the Lexus dealer for service. After maintenance according to the manufacturer’s instructions, you get 15,000 km or a one-year warranty every time, with the maximum of 10 years or 200,000 km. This also applies if your car has not been serviced by Lexus before and you still go to the dealer. Of course, as long as the car has not yet passed that maximum life experience. The warranty is not linked to the owner, but to the car and can therefore be taken by the next owner.
