Although this year has once again shown that a rain suit is not an unnecessary luxury when you decide to go out for a day on your motorcycle, many motorcyclists keep it in their closet because it is not pleasant to drive with a rain suit. At Louis they think they have come up with a solution: a Vanucci VRX rain combo.

It is the least favorite item of clothing for motorcyclists: the rain suit, which you always feel is in the wrong place. In your backpack when it turns out to be a beautiful day and on the shelf at home when it suddenly rains like crazy. We can discuss this, unfortunately we are experts in that area.
The hassle of putting on a rain suit and going crazy from the chatter when you are driving with the rain suit are the main reasons for leaving it on the shelf at home, even if we are on the road for several days. And so it has happened to us more than once that we arrived at our destination wet up to the buttocks.
At Louis they now say they have developed a rain suit that can put an end to all that misery: a Vanucci VXR rain combination, consisting of the VXR-6 jacket and the VXR-7 trousers. The combination is made of 80% polyamide and 20% elastane.
According to Louis, they are non-slip, very elastic and coated on the inside with a waterproof and breathable PU membrane. The fit can therefore fit nicely to the body, making fluttering and inflation a thing of the past thanks to this combination.
The equipment and design have been kept decidedly simple. Reflective applications provide better visibility in the dark – useful for those short autumn and winter days. Thanks to the zippers down to the thigh, the pants are easy to put on, even with boots.
Very important detail: the hood. This hood is worn UNDER the helmet, like a balaclava. This means that the rain has no chance to creep down the neck between the helmet and the collar. When you are not using the hood, simply roll it up into the collar.
The jacket and trousers are available exclusively from Louis for €119.99 and €99.99 respectively in sizes S to 4XL.
