You can also make an appointment for a corona test online. That saves waiting on the phone.
Request corona test
Anyone with mild complaints that fit the coronavirus (also called Covid-19) can request a corona test. This concerns cold complaints, sore throat, cough, increase or loss of smell or smell. For the first few months, people could only request this test by telephone. But now it is also possible online.
If you want to make an appointment online, you need a telephone number, e-mail address and DigiD. Many authorities and companies work with the digital proof of identity DigiD. No DigiD yet? Then make an appointment via telephone number 0800-1202 (seven days a week between 8.00 and 20.00). Applying for a DigiD takes a few days.

In the rest of the article, we describe how to make an appointment for a corona test online. That starts with answering a few questions.
- Open the internet browser.
- surf to Coronatest.nl.
- click on I want to be tested.
- Scroll down and click Start.
- The GGD asks a number of questions about the complaints, work situation and contacts. Click on the correct answer and then on Next one.
- click on make appointment.
The DigiD login window opens.
Log in with DigiD app
To continue making the appointment, you must log in with DigiD. In the steps below we log in using the DigiD app. More about this can be found in the tip ‘Log in with the DigiD app’. Not using the app? Then move on to the next paragraph.
- click on With the DigiD app.
- Grab your smartphone and open the DigiD app.
- In the app, tap Start.
- In the app, tap I get it.
- A code in the app will appear on the screen. Enter this code on the website where you are making an appointment.
- Click on this webpage Next one.
- Pick up the phone again. Tap here Next one.
- If prompted, tap Give permission to allow the DigiD app to use the device’s camera.
- Point the phone’s camera at the QR code on the computer screen.
- On the phone, tap login.
- Enter the PIN code of the DigiD app for confirmation.
Log in with control SMS
Are you not using the DigiD app? Then log in with a verification SMS.
- click on With a check via SMS.
- Click in the field under ‘DigiD username’ and enter your DigiD username.
- Click in the field below ‘Password’ and type the corresponding password.
- click on login.
- You will receive a code by SMS on the linked telephone number. Copy this code to the web page.
- click on Next one.
Make an appointment for corona test
After you have logged in, the actual appointment can be made.
- Click in the field below ‘Postal code’.
- Enter the numbers of your zip code.
- click on Next one.
- An overview of available times and locations appears. Click on the desired moment so that it turns blue.
- click on Next one.
- Click under ‘Phone number’ and enter your phone number.
- Click under ‘Email address’ and enter your email address.
- click on Next one.
- Check the overview with the data.
- click on Confirm to finalize the appointment.
You will receive an appointment confirmation by text message and email.
Result corona test
If you made the appointment online, you will receive an email as soon as the results are ready. The results can then be viewed on the same website where the test was requested.
- Open the internet browser.
- surf to Coronatest.nl.
- click on I want to know the result.
- Log in with DigiD. Follow the steps in the paragraph ‘Log in with DigiD app’ or ‘Log in with verification SMS’.
Under ‘Test result’ you will find the result of the test.
