The new BMW M3 and M4 are hardly on the market when the German tuner Manhart is already taking it. The MH3 600 and MH4 600 have been adapted in appearance, but also receive various technical upgrades.
On the outside, Manhart’s adjustments are not even very extreme. The tuner mounts a splitter, an extra piece under the side skirts and a modified diffuser with an extra (fog) rear light that is reminiscent of Formula 1. In addition, the tuner mounts its own 21-inch wheels, which are available in gold or with a golden edge can be carried out. For whom all this is not striking enough, Manhart has a set of golden stickers on offer. Among other things, the lines in the front and rear bumper are then accentuated with golden edges, on the bonnet and the roof there is an asymmetrically placed gold stripe and in that case there is also a gold stripe with the model name of the car on the sides. Finally, Manhart replaces the BMW logos with its own logo.
In addition to the cosmetic adjustments, the tuner increases the power. At the moment these are still estimates, but with the MHtronik Powerbox, the power of the M3 and M4 Competition should increase to 620 hp and 750 Nm of torque. In that case, the regular version remains stuck at 590 hp. For some extra sound from the blown straight-six, Manhart mounts a sports exhaust. In addition, the cars can be placed a little lower on their wheels thanks to lowering springs from H&R. It is not known what the tuning of Manhart will cost. The company reports that it is currently working on more extreme modifications for the M3 and M4, due out later this year.
