Bygone flair

For an Italian supercar with a mid-engine and over 600 horsepower, the design of the Maserati MC20 is relatively understated. Mansory apparently thinks so too, because the German tuner of luxury cars pulls out all the stops to make it its own creation.
Although you can also turn to Mansory for a unique touch for the other Maserati models, the tuner uses the Maserati MC20 to once again design a complete tuning package. For this, the company uses its favorite material: carbon fiber. Mansory does not go as far with the MC20 as its German competitor Novitec sometimes does with its N-Largo packages, whereby the panels are also replaced by ones that make the body wider as a whole. However, the result is equally unsubtle.
Because although in principle nothing changes to the body of the MC20 at Mansory, they do stick a lot of carbon fiber to it. After the Mansory treatment, numerous flaps and raised edges suddenly appear around the sills, with the part in front of the rear wheel and the rising part behind the front screen claiming the most attention. The tuner makes the headlights visually larger by adding some carbon around it and mounts a huge splitter at the bottom of the MC20 nose.

At the back of the less subtle creation we find the biggest changes. There too, the bumper work is considerably more intense, but that change is almost nothing compared to the new bonnet and the gigantic spoiler behind it. They are also – of course – both made of carbon fiber. If you have them mounted on your MC20, you can choose from different types of finishes at Mansory. Matt or glossy finished carbon fiber woven in a ‘regular’ way is of course possible, but if desired you can also order for a chopped or forged go finish. That makes the carbon fiber look like it’s been chopped into thousands of pieces and then pressed back into a shape.
Under the skin, Mansory also comes with upgrades, although it does not provide many details about it yet. A new exhaust system and a lowering set are in any case possible. Prefer an extra striking MC20 Cielo, the open variant of the mid-engine Maserati? Mansory will soon reveal his vision.
The transparent plate containing the Maserati logo above the engine compartment is replaced by a carbon fiber panel with holes.
