Black with a white gold edge
Almost every car brand is tempted to release extra black ‘colored’ versions. Even Maserati cannot stop itself and now covers the MC20 with a dark sauce.
Black Badge, Black Line, Black Edition, all different names for basically the same treatment. Everything that normally still has some color or is chrome-plated is made black. The Maserati MC20 is now undergoing a somewhat similar transformation, but at least the Italians are giving it a more original name: Notte. Italian for night. Applicable.
The Maserati MC20 Notte is a limited edition to 50 copies. It is of course painted black (Nero Essenza) and stands on 20-inch black alloy with white gold accents and that white gold is also reflected on the decorative elements on the flanks and in the various logos and badges. There are yellow stitches in the interior to break through the darkness somewhat. A special plate centrally behind the two sports seats reminds you that you own one of the 50 copies. It is not yet known what the Maserati MC20 costs. Here in the Netherlands you recently have to pay at least €300,000 for the ‘regular’ MC20.
