Mazda extends the price list of the MX-30 with a second version. Mazda’s electric crossover can also be ordered immediately as Luxury.
It is October 2019 when Mazda introduces the MX-30 to the world at the Tokyo Motor Show, a fully electric crossover based on the CX-30 that until now could only be ordered as a First Edition. That introduction version remains on the price list, but gets company of a more luxuriously decorated version with the appropriate name ‘Luxury’. Where Mazda asks € 33,990 for the First Edition, the Luxury changes ownership from € 38,990. For that money you naturally get more extensive standard equipment.
The Luxury is until Mazda decides to add a Signature version to the delivery range of the MX-30, the most lavishly equipped version that you can get. Compared to the First Edition, the Luxury has extra features such as a sliding / tilting roof, an automatically dimming exterior mirror on the driver’s side, a windscreen wiper defroster and steering wheel heater. The list of extras continues with a Bose audio system with twelve speakers, a 150w power connection and with an extensive package of active and passive safety systems. That package includes Smart Ketkess Entry, a 360-degree camera, Front and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Smart City Brake Support Rear, Driver Attention and ALERT Traffic Jam Assist. The latter system makes it possible to drive more or less autonomously in a traffic jam up to a speed of 55 km / h. The First Edition was not very well equipped with things like 18-inch alloy, adaptive LED headlights, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat and a digital set of instruments. The First Edition is now also available in the colors Jet Black, Polymetal Gray and Machine Gray. Like Ceramic Metallic, Arctic White Solid is a free color for the electric crossover.
Both the First Edition and the Luxury versions of the MX-30 will be available at Dutch dealers in September. You can order immediately.
