Mazda unveils new SUV

Grab the magnifying glass. Mazda has shown the first images of a brand-new SUV that will be introduced to the car world next year.

The Canadian branch of Mazda has shared a grainy video showing snatches of the CX-50. The CX-50 will be a new SUV that we do not have to expect in Europe for the time being.

Mazda will launch two SUVs in Europe next year: the CX-60 and the CX-80. The two will receive two brothers in the United States in the form of the CX-70 and CX-90. The CX-80 and CX-90 will have a third row of seats, providing room for seven passengers. Those four new SUVs will be placed on a new, in principle, rear-wheel drive platform and will be available with plug-in hybrid powertrains and six-cylinder (!) petrol engines, among other things. The CX-50 of which Mazda Canada shows a teaser video, seems to be overloaded with new technology to a lesser extent.

It seems that the CX-50 will act as a more spacious brother of the CX-5. The CX-50 shares its technology with the CX-30 and 3 and will soon be available with four-wheel drive, among other things. The CX-50 does not yet succeed the CX-5, Mazda indicates that it will continue to sell that car in the United States for the time being. The CX-50 will make its public debut on November 15.

There is always a new terrain. The journey begins 11/15. pic.twitter.com/YV3sRDPN2K
