Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance F1 Edition

Is the name of the strong top version of the Mercedes-Benz C-class not long enough for you? Then you can now opt for a special edition of that 680 hp plug-in hybrid powerhouse that listens to the name Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance F1 Edition.

Mercedes-Benz only has four-cylinder in the C-class. So also in the AMG versions. The new C 63 also has four pips instead of a mighty V8, but to compensate for the decrease in the number of cylinders, AMG has linked the 477 hp 2.0 four-cylinder engine to an electric motor. The result: 680 hp and no less than 1,020 Nm of plug-in hybrid power from Affalterbach. Mercedes-AMG now presents a special F1 Edition of the Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance.

The F1 Edition is painted in an Alpine Gray called gray unilak that gets darker towards the bottom. In addition, the door sills and the front and rear bumpers are finished with red accents. According to Mercedes-AMG, the whole is a reference to the Medical Car from Mercedes-AMG that is ready during the F1 races. The F1 Editions are further decorated with the AMG Aerodynamics Package, a package that includes a larger splitter to the front, a modified diffuser to the C 63s. The sedan version gets a spoiler on the tailgate.

More F1 Edition fun comes in the form of the two AMG Night packages that Mercedes-AMG normally has on the option list of the top C’s. The consequence? A whole bunch of black accents. The interior is also finished with black and red accents. We see black nappa leather with red stitching and special AMG emblems in the headrests. The AMG Performance steering wheel is finished in a combination of nappa leather and microfibre. We do not yet have a Dutch price.
