Mercedes-AMG C63 S Cabrio gets power cure from Lorinser

Lorinser has taken care of the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Cabriolet. In addition to a bump of extra power from the 4.0 V8 biturbo, the fast homeless person gets some subtle external adjustments.

In general, Lorinser nowadays uses a much milder approach than, for example, Brabus. A set of light metal, a power upgrade and then you have it. This is also the case with the C63 S Cabriolet. Thanks to the Lorinser PowerModule, an upgrade of the engine management, the V8 delivers 598 hp and 830 Nm of torque. A gain of 88 hp and 130 Nm respectively compared to the standard software from Mercedes. Lorinser does not tell how fast the C63 S has become, but at least those poor rear tires have to endure some extra forces. The PowerModule costs € 2,499 excluding installation. Incidentally, Lorinser reports that the other variants of the C63 are also eligible for the strength cure.

The external adjustments remain subtle. Lorinser does not change the body of the C63, the Lorinser RS8 alloy wheels catch the eye. These ‘turbine wheels’ are made in one piece, are available in silver or black and cost € 2,599 for 19-inch and € 2,889 for 20-inch. If this isn’t quite your thing, Lorinser also offers the 19-inch five-twin-spoke ‘RS9’ wheels for € 2,949. To top it off, Lorinser offers mirror caps in matt carbon for € 799.
