Before Mercedes-Benz itself makes it public, AutoWeek can tell you what the two powerful AMG versions of the GLC Coupé will cost. What seems? The 680 hp GLC 63 SE Performance is considerably less expensive per hp than the significantly less powerful GLC 43.

Mercedes-Benz already offers the GLC Coupé in various plug-in hybrid flavors. It now adds two big AMG versions. The first is called the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4Matic+ Coupé. It has a 421 hp 2.0 four-cylinder that can temporarily provide an extra 14 hp thanks to mild-hybrid support. This 500 Nm powerful entry-level AMG version reaches a speed of 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h. It will cost you €150,371 in the Netherlands, of which more than €52,000 is bpm. This variant will cost you more than €345 per horsepower.

The absolute top version of the GLC Coupé is called Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 SE Performance. Unlike the GLC 43, this is not a mild hybrid, but a plug-in hybrid. It has a 476 hp 2.0 that is supported by 204 electric horses. The system power is a powerful 680 hp and 1,020 Nm, enough to accelerate the SUV to a speed of 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. Its top speed: 275 km/h. The fact that this is a plug-in hybrid variant means that you get mountains of horsepower that the tax authorities do not sink their teeth into, sharpened by the BPM. The GLC 63 SE Performance costs at least €166,883. Of this, ‘only’ €29,842 is bpm. So it will cost you €245 per horsepower. The GLC 63 SE Performance is also available as a special Edition1 and costs considerably more in that form: €194,592.
