Mercedes hangs a price tag on the 843 hp plug version of the AMG GT 4-door. Compared to its predecessor on paper, the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door 63S E-Performance (exhale) offers a little more for about the same.

The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 SE Performance is certainly not intended as an economy miracle, but thanks to a small battery pack and the option to drive 12 kilometers electrically, it still has relatively low CO2 emissions. That comes at 180 grams per kilometer, against 292 pieces for the traditionally powered 63S. Mercedes asks for a minimum of €231.918 for the monster, approximately at the level of the less fast and less complex predecessor.

The new variant of the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door replaces the regular 63S, which is no longer on the price list since the update of the model. With 843 instead of 639 hp, the E-Performance refers its predecessor resolutely to the second plan in terms of power. That is not surprising, because it combines the same 4.0-liter V8, with the same power, with a 204 hp and 320 Nm strong electric motor. The system power thus comes to an unbelievable 843 hp and a maximum of 1,470 Nm of torque. It goes from 0 to 100 in 2.9 seconds, the top is 316 km/h.
