EQE 350+ and AMG EQE 43
Mercedes-Benz announces the first prices of the fully electric EQE. The smaller brother of the EQS is initially in the showroom as EQE 350+ and AMG EQE 43. The EQE is a lot more affordable than the EQS, although that is a relative term.
You can get into the Mercedes-Benz EQE from €76,825. For that money, you get the keys to the 292 hp EQE 350+ Launch Edition Luxury Line. This has a battery pack of more than 90 kWh in the bottom, with which a theoretical range of 646 kilometers should be possible. Standard equipment includes 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with adaptive high beam assistant, the MBUX multimedia system with navigation and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, climate control and heated front seats. For €79,850 you can also order the Launch Edition as a sportier AMG line. Optionally, there is also plenty to choose from with things such as rear-axle steering, Digital Light headlights and extensive driving assistance systems. The MBUX hyperscreen is not available on the EQS 350+, while it is on the press plates.
Higher up the ladder is the AMG EQE 43 4Matic. Where the EQE 350+ is currently only available with rear-wheel drive, the EQE 43 offers four-wheel drive and 476 hp. With a starting price of €107,860, it costs quite a bit more. Then you get a lot of facilities as standard that are an option on the EQE 350+, such as the aforementioned rear-axle steering and Digital Light. The EQE 43 also has the AMG Ride Control+ suspension as standard with adaptive dampers and air suspension. Furthermore, the EQE 43 is distinguished by a ‘grille’ with vertical bars, an AMG steering wheel and sports seats. The Hyperscreen can also be ordered on the AMG, although it is a very expensive option with an additional cost of €8,712.
For now, only these variants of the EQE are on the price list. The even more powerful 626 hp AMG EQE 53, which was already announced, does not yet have a price tag. More versions are expected to be added to the price list in the future. In any case, the EQE is already considerably cheaper than the EQS, which costs at least €91,303 as an EQS 350. The EQE 350+ and AMG EQE 43 can be ordered immediately and will be available at dealers from the end of April.
