Spyshots Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe

In mid-2021, Mercedes-Benz conjured up the second-generation GLC from the top hat. In keeping with Mercedes’ SUV tradition, there will also be a GLC Coupé next to it and it is the new Mercedes GLC Coupé that can be seen up close in these photos.

Mercedes-Benz is lord and master of filling niches and so it naturally comes with a new GLC Coupé based on the second generation GLC launched in 2021. The new GLC grew a size compared to its predecessor, so the new GLC Coupé that you see in these photos is also slightly larger than the outgoing version.

Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé: complete with integrated rear spoiler.

So the format changes slightly, but the concept of the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé remains unchanged. The new GLC Coupé is again the more dynamically designed alternative to the regular GLC, complete with a steeper sloping roofline for those who prefer it to a lot of headroom in the back. On the back of this black test sample, just like on previously snapped prototypes, we see a rear spoiler integrated into the tailgate. The rear lights seem to bear strong resemblances to the ones on the back of cars like the current CLA and CLS.

Like the more practically shaped GLC, the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé will also be available with an extensive range of powertrains. Mercedes-Benz gives its competitor of cars such as the BMW X4 and Q5 Sportback not only mild-hybrid petrol and diesel engines, but undoubtedly also one or more plug-in hybrid powertrains. Count on the arrival of a GLC 300 e and 400 e Coupé and of course also on heavy AMG versions.
