Mini feels the melancholy jitters in the lower abdomen and responds to them by giving all its models a special version. Both the Mini 3- and 5-door and Convertible and Countryman are temporarily available as Rockingham GT.
With the Rockingham GT version, Mini pays tribute to the 1275 GT, which is the name of both a racing version and a sporty street version of the original Mini. The new Rockingham GT flavor is temporarily available and can be combined with the Cooper S versions of the Mini 3-door, 5-door, Convertible, Clubman and Countryman.
Minis with the Rockingham GT sauce come standard on 17-inch large John Cooper Works Track Spoke wheels and also come with the JCW Aerodynamics package. The Rockingham GTs are painted White Silver as standard, although other colors are available at an additional cost, and are further enhanced with GT stripes on the hood and side. At the bottom of the rear, the dressed Minis get carbon fiber exhaust tailpipes and the whole thing is further dressed with black accents. A bunch of Rockingham GT logos are also present, of course, both outside and inside. In the interior we also see Piano Black-colored panels, partially leather-covered seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a gray headliner.
The Mini Rockingham GT has a starting price of €43,000, which is for the Mini Cooper S 3-door Rockingham GT.
