Mitsubishi packs a punch during the Tokyo Auto Salon. The brand opens a can of optically dressed models and, with the Vision Ralliart Concept, draws attention to the dusted Ralliart label, among other things.
Mitsubishi is bringing seven models to the Tokyo Auto Salon, a visual perk-focused auto show not to be confused with the Tokyo Motor Show. Mitsubishi is bringing the Ralliart label to the attention in Tokyo, among other things. Ralliart, the sports and motorsport division of Mitsubishi, returned for the first time on an up-to-date version of the Pajero Sport and Triton and now shines on a handful of Mitsubishi concept cars.
Mitsubishi Vision Ralliart Concept
For example, Mitsubishi presents the Vision Ralliart Concept, a car that according to the brand embodies what it intends to do with Ralliart. The Vision Ralliart Concept is a heavily decorated Outlander, complete with sporty bumper work, wide wheel arches, sporty rubber around the wheels, a modified hood, a new grille and of course a whole host of black accents. Mitsubishi mentions, among other things, extra potent braking. Ralliart therefore seems to be a label for mainly externally dressed models, sporadically combined with things like more powerful brakes and a sportier tuned chassis. The Ralliart label is also used in diluted form for another Outlander and for a variant of the Eclipse Cross. They are on the show floor of the Tokyo Auto Salon as Ralliart Style. These cars seem to be nothing more than a show.
Mitsubishi K-EV concept X Style
K-EV Concept X Style
Electric cars come in all shapes and sizes, but electric kei cars are not yet in abundance. Mitsubishi once had the i-MiEV borrowed by Peugeot and Citroën on the Japanese price lists, but it seems that that car will soon be followed up. Mitsubishi shows with the K-EV Concept X Style an electric version of the eK X, one of Mitsubishi’s kei-cars. Technical specifications are not yet reported by the manufacturer.
Mitsubishi Delica D:5 Tough x Tough
Adventure
No Tokyo Auto Salon without a couple of more adventurously dressed models. For the occasion, Mitsubishi dips both the naturally stubborn Delica D:5 in an off-road sauce and gives it the addition ‘Tough x Tough’. A tough boy, complete with an imperial, extra lamps on the roof, red accents, sidebars and bright red mud flaps. In addition, the Outlander shines as a Wild Adventure Style, a show car that includes a roof rack.
Mitsubishi Minicab-MiEV B-Leisure Style
Finally, we would like to bring the Minicab MiEV B-Leisure Style to your attention. This is a variant of the Minicab MiEV in a two-tone color scheme, an electric commercial vehicle equipped with a Power Box with which you can charge all kinds of electrical devices. The Minicab MiEV B-Leisure Style is a true mini camper and is therefore equipped with a table and a completely flat loading floor. Handy for camping.
