Morgan presents the all-new Plus Four. You hardly see that on the outside, but under the skin nothing is the same anymore.
The small British sports car brand Morgan has unveiled the new Plus Four. According to Morgan, only 3 percent of the parts are the same as the previous model, but there are few innovations on the outside. The classic design features Morgan’s models, the brand saw little reason to change that.
The engine is completely new and just like the six-cylinder from the Plus Six from BMW. The Plus Four is a four-cylinder 2.0 TwinPower petrol engine, with 255 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. In combination with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the Plus Four sprints from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.8 seconds. Morgan also supplies the car with a manual gearbox, which slightly increases the acceleration time. The top speed of the roadster weighing only 1007 kilos is 239 km / h.
The Plus Four uses the same aluminum platform as the new Plus Six, which was introduced a year ago. The Plus Four can now be ordered in the Netherlands, from 99,950 euros. That price applies to both the suspended version and the machine. Deliveries start in May.
