Covid seems to be returning, which is a reason for Moto Guzzi to organize no fewer than seven motorcycle tours this year with unforgettable destinations: Corsica and Sardinia, Tuscany, Crete, the Balkans, Tunisia and Morocco. In addition, an “epic centenary trip” to the North Cape is on the program, ending in Mandello during the Guzzi world days.
Since 2017, the Moto Guzzi Experience has been welcoming participants on two-cylinder bikes from Mandello to go on an adventure on beautiful roads and places that evoke authentic emotions for all motorcyclists who love the smell of asphalt, nature, discovering the territory and the friendship that develops between traveling companions.
The first episode is scheduled for April 16-25 on two islands familiar to many motorcyclists: Corsica and Sardinia. From 7 to 15 May, you will discover another island with a rich history, Crete.
On the weekend of May 27 to 30, it will be the turn of the magnificent dirt roads of Tuscany, a stage in which the entire motorcycle fleet will consist of Moto Guzzi V85 TTs. Two adventure experiences are also planned for the Balkans (from June 18 to 25) and North Africa: from October 15 to 24 in Tunisia, and from December 24 to January 8, 2023 in Morocco.
A rich program, which is made completely unique by the addition of a destination for Guzzi is very special: the North Cape. In 1928, Giuseppe Guzzi, the brother of founder Carlo, put Moto Guzzi on the map during the mythical rally to the North Cape on the Moto Guzzi GT 500 Norge on the Moto Guzzi GT 500 Norge.
This is how the most exclusive and sensational stage of the Moto Guzzi Experience 2022, the “Century Journey” – originally planned for 2021 and then postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic – to take the coordinates 71° 10′ 21″, Nordkapp, at the most immersive, carefree and authentic way: in the saddle of a motorcycle “made in Mandello”.
The centenary trip is 27 days “on the road”: from August 16 to September 11, to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Northern Europe together with other Guzzi enthusiasts. A unique experience that can only end at the Mandello del Lario factory, right during the GMG – the Moto Guzzi World Days – in the midst of the festivities celebrating the first 100 years of the Eagle.
During each stage of the Moto Guzzi Experience, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the redesigned Moto Guzzi V7 and V85 TT models – the latter also in the Travel version.
A special all-inclusive formula has been confirmed for the participants, one of the many reasons for the success of the Moto Guzzi Experience: the tourist package includes full board overnight stays with lunches along the routes and dinners at the indicated locations, the use of the motorcycles, fuel and any kind of assistance during the journey.
The Moto Guzzi Experience is not only aimed at the loyal Guzzi enthusiasts of The Clan – the official 45,000-member Moto Guzzi community that offers its members exclusive benefits – but is open to all motorcyclists who are drawn to the world of the Eagle from Mandello.
