Moto Guzzi has issued a recall for the V100 Mandello Aviazione Navale. The lower mounting point of the rear shock may not be mounted properly, possibly causing it to break.

After receiving two reports in Italy, the first on July 7 and the second on July 27, Moto Guzzi has announced a recall for the new V100 Mandello on August 4. Research showed that the problem can occur with the V100 Mandello and the V100 Mandello Aviazione Navale.
Affected models may have the rear shock installed out of specification due to the failure to install one or both of the bushings supplied with the rear shock by supplier Kayaba. This can potentially angle the rear shock to the point where it stiffens and can break at the lower suspension point.
For that reason, Piaggio has now rolled out a recall campaign. At the Moto Guzzi dealer, a complete inspection of the rear shock will be done on the V100 Mandello and it will be replaced if it appears that the bushings are missing.
