Motorola wants to release three phones from the Edge series, on September 8 if we are to believe a new teaser. We are expected to get the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra flagship together with the Razr 2022 and a third device.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra Launch
Motorola has new plans with its Edge series. “Find yourself closer to the edge… September 8”, we read in a new tweet. Then we see a short video showing the outlines of three phones along with the launch date.
Motorola launched the X30 Pro and the S30 Pro in China this month, and the brand is rumored to be launching both phones in our market under the Edge name. The X30 Pro will then be the ‘Edge 30 Ultra’, but it is not yet known what the S30 Pro will be called.
The Edge 30 Ultra has been leaked many times in recent months and was previously known under the code name ‘Frontier’. The device has a 144 Hz OLED screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a 200 MP main camera. A 125W fast charger is also provided. If we convert the Chinese price of the phone and add VAT, it would be for sale from 653.79 euros. But we do expect the actual price to be higher.
Motorola S30 Pro and Razr 2022
The S30 Pro is known to have a Snapdragon 888+ processor and a smaller 144 Hz screen. The camera has a 50 MP sensor and under the hood is a 4,400 mAh battery. Charging is possible with a 68W fast charger with this phone. The phones also share a similar design.
The third phone, which we haven’t talked about yet, is probably the new Razr 2022. And that foldable smartphone has also been proposed in China before. What do you expect from this launch? Let us know in the comments.
