Criticism after update

The beta version of Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) has been updated and rolled out to a select group of US Tesla owners. The update is not to everyone’s satisfaction, but according to Musk, customers “shouldn’t complain so much.”
Tesla CEO Elon Musk does not want to hear complaints from customers who try the latest 10.69 update from FSD in their cars. “Please don’t ask to be included in early betas and then complain,” Musk responded to a Tesla owner who posted videos of the system on Twitter showing FSD stuttering. In the video, FSD sometimes appears to have trouble turning right and other basic functions.
The update was introduced to a select group of customers last week and will increase the total price of FSD by $3,000 to $15,000 as of September 5. It should make FSD work even more flawlessly, but apparently not everyone agrees. “10.69 was released on a small scale for a reason,” Musk responds. The fact that Tesla is rolling out FSD beta serves two purposes. It should show the potential of the system and get potential customers excited about it, but it also helps Tesla develop it further.
FSD is often criticized, but Musk likes to point out that it is still in a development phase. In any case, Tesla now sees no problem in having the system tested by the American security watchdog NHTSA. It may have waited for update 10.69 to roll out before allowing that. That says something about the expectations that Tesla itself has of the update.
