MV Agusta Brutale Serie Oro – pure Italian mastery in limited edition

MV Agusta has officially unveiled the new Brutale Serie Oro – a spectacular reinterpretation of the naked-superbike concept with which the Varese brand once made a name for itself. Limited to just 300 copies, the Serie Oro combines uncompromising performance with refined technology and a design that is as functional as it is emotional.

Beyond Performance: a new philosophy

MV Agusta Brutale Serie Oro – pure Italian mastery in limited edition

The Brutale Serie Oro is the first MV Agusta that has been fully developed according to the new brand philosophy “Beyond Performance”. The premise: top performance is not the end goal, but only the beginning. MV Agusta wants to create motorcycles that are not only fast, but also offer an exceptional emotional experience – in design, sound, dynamics and driving feeling.

Four core values form the basis: Design, Performance, Rideability and Reliability. The latter is striking, because MV Agusta emphasizes that it also wants to set a new quality standard with the Serie Oro. The engine comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty – a first for the brand.

Design: evolution of an icon

Visually, the Brutale Serie Oro remains unmistakably a Brutale. The design has evolved without losing its original character: aggressive, compact and with flowing lines that combine Italian elegance with technical precision.

The bike is equipped with a matrix LED headlight with cornering function, a full Öhlins suspension package, Brembo Hypure brake calipers and an exclusive titanium Termignoni exhaust. Every part exudes craftsmanship, with carbon fiber details on the engine guard and belly pan to save weight and enhance the sporty appearance.

New heart: the 950 EVO three-cylinder

Central to the new Brutale Serie Oro is the completely revised 950 EVO three-cylinder, an evolution of the engine from the Enduro Veloce. The 931 cc with counter-rotating crankshaft delivers 148 hp at 11,200 rpm and 107 Nm at 8,400 rpm, of which 85% is already available from 3,500 rpm.

The engine received a completely new cylinder head, improved cooling, larger valves, modified intake and exhaust ports and reinforced pistons with a fire-ring gasket for a higher compression ratio. Thanks to the ride-by-wire throttle valve (50 mm) and new injectors, the engine responds smoother and more precisely than ever. A slipper and assist clutch reduces hand force and increases comfort in busy city traffic or during heavy braking.

The result is a power source that is as explosive as it is refined – typical MV Agusta – but now with more reliability and flexibility across the entire rev range. Strong words from MV, which according to our man Alan C. who recently had the opportunity to drive prototypes P0 and P2, were not a lie. Otherwise, check his test again.

Bicycle section and geometry: speed control

The Serie Oro introduces a new steel truss frame with increased torsional stiffness and a longer swingarm for greater traction and stability. The geometry has been revised with a slightly wider head angle and longer wheelbase, providing greater confidence at high speeds without sacrificing agility.

The new ergonomic triangle design with higher, wider handlebar position and redesigned footpegs gives the rider more space and control. The tank shape has been adapted for extra grip with the knees, while the Alcantara seat offers both luxury and support. The engine feels more neutral, precise and intuitive – a characteristic that MV Agusta has until now mainly reserved for its sporty F3 models.

Electronics: simplicity in perfection

The electronic package has been completely redesigned around a 5″ TFT color display with improved readability, new graphics and extensive personalization. The updated MV App gives the rider access to navigation, settings and safety functions such as GPS tracking, crash detection and geofencing.

Five riding modes are available – Rain, Urban, Sport, Race and Custom – which adjust parameters such as ABS, traction control, throttle response and engine braking. The quickshifter system shifts smoother than ever, and the cornering ABS has three adjustable levels for maximum safety and precision.

The new matrix headlight with adaptive cornering lights ensures optimal visibility in the dark, while the lighter housing and new turn signals visually refine the bike.

Brakes and suspension: top class components

Brakes come from Brembo, with Hypure calipers and dual 320mm floating discs up front. At the rear, a 220mm twin-piston disc provides controlled deceleration. A new radial master cylinder design with automatic bleeding improves feel and braking power.

The Öhlins suspension package consists of a fully adjustable NIX 30 upside-down front fork with TiN coating and a TTX 36 rear shock absorber with external piggyback reservoir. Adjustment is accessible both hydraulically and mechanically, ideal for quick setup changes on the street or track.

The Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires (120/70–17 and 190/55–17) provide excellent grip and feedback, while the forged alloy wheels reduce unsprung weight for even quicker changes of direction.

Series Oro: exclusivity from Varese

Each Brutale Serie Oro is hand-built in Varese, Italy, and numbered as part of a limited production run of 300 pieces. The exclusive Pearl Red and Silver Ago color scheme honors the rich MV racing past, while modern details prepare the bike for a new era.

With its unique blend of Italian style, advanced engineering and pure emotion, the new Brutale Serie Oro is much more than a motorcycle. It’s a work of art with a heartbeat — built to perform, designed to hit.
