No brand knows how to surprise again and again with the most amazing exclusive creations like MV Agusta, which enters into unique collaborations with not the least people. The latest creation from the factory on Lake Varese is this Superveloce Arsham: developed in consultation with the American artist Daniel Arsham.

If you have never heard of 43-year-old Daniel Arsham, Born in Cleveland, Ohio, raised in Miami and currently living in New York, Arsham is a respected performer and artist, who has worked with big names in the past such as Merce Cunningham, Hedi Slimane, Jonah Bokaer has worked with companies such as Rimowa and Tiffany & Co and created an animation for Pokémon.
Arsham is also, along with Alex Mustonen, founder of Snarkitecture, a design philosophy that focuses on uncovering the materials within their environment and how they can be manipulated to serve new and imaginative purposes. Arsham’s avant-garde erosion method expresses the concept of passing time through sculpture. He works in a multitude of disciplines, creating and crystallizing ambiguous spaces and situations, and staging what he calls future remains of the present.
Most of the objects he creates, always iconic, refer to the late 20th century or millennium era, when technological obsolescence accelerated unprecedentedly along with the digital dematerialization of our world. While the present, future and past collide poetically in his intriguing yet playful visions between romanticism and pop art, Arsham also experiments with the timelessness of certain symbols and gestures across cultures.

This Snarkitecture philosophy can also be found in the Superveloce Arsham, proof that even monotonous white can be elevated to true art, as long as you do it the right way. And then suddenly it no longer looks monotonous, but a palette of different types of white. According to MV, Snarkitecture is “amazingly reminiscent of the intimate nature of the Superveloce itself: disturbingly attractive, avant-garde, incredibly iconic and high-tech.”
If you are in the market for it, you will have to be quick. The Superveloce Arsham is produced in a super exclusive edition of only 6 units.

Timur Sardarov, CEO of MV Agusta Motor SpA:
“I am excited about this incredible collaboration with Daniel Arsham, an artist I truly admire and who has so much in common with MV Agusta in terms of values and philosophy. His works are amazingly inspiring and together we will take our motorcycle art to the next level.”
Daniel Arsham:
“I was always fascinated by the automotive world. The design ethos of cars and motorcycles always fits a certain era and marks the time through their design. The project on the Superveloce was the opportunity to explore a ‘moving sculpture’, a functional motorcycle transformed into a sculpture, by adding crystal erosion and applying a color reminiscent of my other artworks and style. Together with MV Agusta, we created everything on the bike, including the stand, overcoming technical challenges and resulting in a new interpretation of motorcycle art.”
